Night Operations consists of a team of student Building Supervisors under the direction of a full-time staff member.

Building Supervisors oversee operations during the evening and weekend hours, with an emphasis placed on patron safety/security and customer service. Building Supervisors are here to make your stay here at the Mountainlair safe and enjoyable.

Mountainlair Mission Statement

The Mountainlair is an organization and a program of services that seeks to balance the educational, recreational, cultural, and social needs of the West Virginia University community. As the student union, the commitment is focused on the whole area of student life outside the classroom, exploring all the possibilities of making study and leisure cooperation factors in education.

Night Operations Mission Statement

Through working and learning together, we hope to provide a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all who enter the Mountainlair. Maintaining a professional appearance, we will strive to set the standard for our fellow student employees and establish excellent employee relations within the building. In doing so, we plan to provide superior customer service and preserve the quality and security of the Mountainlair Student Union.
